Weather Related Precautionary Boil Notice

There is a water shortage in town that will extend into the Rural System. Both water towers are affected by this, but it is worse along 96 than in the hospital area. Critical elements of the production system froze last night despite heating, and we spent most of the day getting the plant pumping to town while identifying about seven leaks. Incoming weather is going to prevent us from starting repairs for a time, and locates for other utilities legally limits us on digging without following process. We are issuing a precautionary boil notice as a result of the pressure loss. It is attached to the bottom of this page.
