Welcome to the official website for the City of San Augustine, located in the heart of Texas Forest Country, in the Pineywoods region of Deep East Texas.

San Augustine's rich history and welcoming community add up to a great place to live.  We're proud of our spot in Texas history as well as the beautiful setting we enjoy, in the green rolling hills between two of the great lakes of Texas, Lake Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend.
