City of San Augustine Fire Department

The City of San Augustine has an excellent Volunteer Fire Department. They are a cohesive team of dedicated people from all parts of San Augustine County and the City of San Augustine. They roll on every major call in the county, and can assist outside the county if needed. The mobile units are equipped with modern hydraulic and electric jaws for getting trapped motorists out of entrapment after accidents. The department is further equipped with something even more important for life safety. That is a dedication and sense of pride in what they do that sets them apart and above the normal abilities of the traditional volunteer brigades. We are very proud of our firefighters in this little town.
