San Augustine Public Library

Established in 1971 by the Women’s Service League, the San Augustine Public Library offers a wide variety of materials and services.  In addition to traditional types of reading materials, audiobooks, ebooks, and DVDs, are available as well. Public access computers and free Wi-Fi are provided, along with copy, fax, laminating, and scanning (to email and in print) services.  Visitors to the library can also print from their cell phones and other mobile devices. A staff genealogist is available to assist those interested in researching family histories.  Local databases, such as the San Augustine Tribune archives and county court records, are accessible to the public.  The annual book sale takes place in early fall, usually in October.
