2020 Water Quality Report - Consumer Confidence Report (CCR)

Information from last record year for our surface water here in San Augustine.

We have had issues with Trihalomethanes (TTHM) which is a byproduct of disinfection with Chlorine. The problem presently is that we had a high reading some months ago which has elevated our long running annual average. However that value value was in the middle of some remediation process at the plant, and it will drop off the average in the next test cycle which will return our average to compliance. Our current test values for TTHM at both sample sites in town are well below the threshold.
