Tornado Vegetative Debris Pickup for City of San Augustine

Map of Debris Pickup Vegetative Only

Debris Pickup Begins Next Week (Week of 05/06/2019)

5/2 Update
Area pickup map added (See picture). Must be in designated area for pickup to occur. As a reminder this is vegetative debris only. NO TRASH.

The removal might start Monday, but it is up to the State of Texas on the exact start date as well as what will get picked up first. It may be they pick up the Farm Roads and Highways first.

5/1 Update
We requested earlier that residents not place trees in power right of way. We forgo that request if it is necessary to allow TxDOT to pick it up next week. We noticed a conflict back in Butts addition, but don't want to stop getting wood out of town. The contractors are gone now anyway so we don't need access immediately.

TxDOT will begin picking up vegetative debris early next week. Please have all vegetative debris at the curb by the end of the day on Sunday, May 5th. This will be for vegetative debris such as brush, branches, and limbs. Please keep all construction debris and household trash separate. TxDOT will come by only one time, and if fallen tree limbs are not out, and ready, they will be the responsibility of the resident.

Remember to help TxDOT and our other utility crews by keeping debris piles at the curb and out of the streets.

Non vegetative waste is solely the responsibility of the resident. The City Transfer Station (The Dump) will be open for 2 weeks for extra hours. 8-5 M-F & 8-12 Sat. Charge is per yard. Not Free.
