Resources for Covid-19 Vaccine Jurisdictional Planning Graphic

This is a good page to discover your eligibility for the Covid-19 vaccine shot.

City Management speaks to the TDEM (Texas Department of Emergency Management) representative regularly, and we receive updates on vaccine shipments. However the City holds no sway with process of vaccinations. This has to be done via the county, and the counties are handled via the Health District in which they are located which is Lufkin in our case (Angelina). We cannot and will not be a hub here with our population, but thanks to Judge Boyd we may get to be a sort of a mini-hub with several hundred doses available in the next couple weeks for folks who are designated 1A & 1B. See the link below to learn about designations. There will likely be a news announcement later today about the afore mentioned mini-hub in San Augustine which will be at the County Livestock Pavilion. Signups would be at the SA Hospital, and as I know more I will post it on the website and then on the FB feed.

They ask you please not go to other districts to sneak in a shot. The "every man for himself" method throws a wrench in allocations for everyone. There simply are not enough shots to cover everyone yet, so if you are not in a covered designation 1A or 1B, please don't try to jump the line.

I am including a resource page from TDEM again for your convenience. It has many forward links that have current information. The link from above id the second one from this document.
