1st Case of Corona-virus Confirmed in San Augustine County

The Angelina County & Cities Health District (COVID-19) confirmed the first positive COVID-19 case of a San Augustine County resident today. 

As with anyone exposed to a Positive COVID-19 case, the Angelina County & Cities Health District is advising those directly exposed to self-quarantine and monitor themselves for flu-like symptoms as recommended by the CDC.

The Texas Department of State Health Services assigns case counts to the County of residence.

As per HIPAA laws, personal information on COVID-19 patients cannot be discussed publically.
