This study was never done after FEMA elected to eliminate the cost associated by not increasing culvert sizes as part of the Harvey repairs. 

 

The City of San Augustine is requesting Statements of Qualifications and Pricing for Engineering Services (Hydrology & Hydraulics Study) in conjunction with a FEMA supported Hurricane Harvey Road Repair with Hazard Mitigation. There may be other services required associated with this project as needed which will be addressed under any agreement with the successful firm.

The City of San Augustine is seeking to enter into a professional services contract with a state-registered engineer. The following outlines the request for statement of qualifications.

I.    Scope of Work
•    Hydrology & Hydraulics Study for Golden Way Culvert Replacement. Repairs are changing the flow under the roadway.
•    Perform additional engineering services as required and agreed upon in conjunction with the street repairs.

ll. Statement of Qualifications
The City is seeking to contract with a competent engineering firm, registered to practice in the State of Texas that has had experience in the following areas:
•    Federal-funded construction projects
•    Projects located in this general region of the State Mitigation projects
•    Hydrology & Hydraulics Study capability and expertise

As such, please provide within your response a list of past client local governments, as well as resumes of all engineers who will or may be assigned to this project if you receive the engineering services contract award.

III. Proposed cost of Services
Do not include Cost.

IV. Schedule of the Work
If selected the Hydrology & Hydraulics Study must be completed for submission to FEMA as soon as possible.

V. Evaluation Criteria
The proposals received will be evaluated and ranked according to the following criteria by City Management, and a firm will be selected in the August Council Meeting on August 21, 2018.
