The City of San Augustine is accepting applications for the following full-time position:

Process Improvement Specialist/Operator

All applications and resumes are to be submitted to City of San Augustine, 301 S. Harrison Street, San Augustine, TX  75972.  Applications will be taken through February 28, 2019.  Office hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Duties will include assisting the Superintendent and City Manager in these areas:

• Planning and delivering projects of all sizes including rollouts of cloud, server-based and direct control systems associated with the City’s Physical Plants.
• Support of Information Technology including hardware, software and control systems for any City application.
• Email, Database and Web Administration
• Maintenance Tasks including Electrical Issues
• Plant Operations
• Other tasks as assigned by Management

Desired Candidate Qualifications:

• Heavy experience in Information Technology including database, software licensing, internet and hardware from desktop to sever applications
• Experience with wireless and WiFi
• Qualified Electrician
• Should be comfortable in a bucket and high places
• Possess or Willingness to obtain a “C” water license on a reasonable schedule
